This club has been created to bring Japanese Animation (or Anime) to local adults (and non-adults) as well as to bring Anime fans together by providing a regular place and time for the showing of Anime videos in the Boise area. We will be showcasing many different types of Anime (We will not be showing any pornographic anime) to cover most genres typically associated with live action movies. It is our hope that we introduce this wonderful art-form in a pleasant environment and invite others in joining with our group . Our organization will be watching both commercial and fansubbed videos. Fansubs are videos which are not acquired, released or translated commercially in the US, but have been translated and subtitled by fans. Since this is a fan service, most anime copyright holders don't bother fansubbers unless they distribute videos which have been aquired or released commercially in the US.
